Because API data volumes like downwardAPI are expected to be fully
managed by Kubernetes and are now mounted read-only, this causes
problems with other files in /etc like /etc/resolv.conf that Docker
tries to add to the volume. Our examples should show such volumes
being mounted to a dedicated subdirectory for the volume.

The `Create an External Load Balancer` readme has a `Finding your IP address` section which describes steps that do not work when running the service in Minikube. @jimmidyson describes how to find your ip address while running in Minikube here: https://github.com/kubernetes/minikube/issues/384#issuecomment-234409957. Added more info on the reason people may get "the connection to the server was refused error". It will help newbies understand the kubectl is a client that connects to a cluster. Hence, a Kubernetes cluster such as a minikube tool will be needed to verify that kubectl is functioning correctly.
